Anotherproblemthatwehadwiththisspeciesisthe presenceof4colourmorphs,viz.totallywhite,totallydark brown,brownwithbands,andlightbrown-orange.Except forthelastonethatcouldshowsomeintergradationswith thebrownmorph,theotherswereconsistentincolourand nointermediateswereobserved.Thecomparisonoftheop- erculum,radula,andmicrosculptureoftheprotoconchofall specimensshowedagreatsimilarityandforthisreasonwe concludedthattheyareallconspecific.Thetypematerial 41 waschosenamongthosewithwhitemorph.
