Ali Fatemi is the Chairman of the Finance Department at DePaul University where he also holds a position as a Professor. Previously he held positions at Kansas State University and Wichita State Univer- sity, and has been a Visiting Scholar at UCLA and at the University of Maastricht. He also has had teaching assignments at Ritsumeikan University,ErasmusUniversity,TilburgUniversity,JustusLiebigUniver- sity, Johann Wolfgang Goethe University, Europa Universität Viadrina, BahrainInstituteofBankingandFinance, andtheCzechManagement Center.HeisagraduateofOklahomaStateUniversity,wherehereceived his PhD (1979) and his MBA (1975). Professor Fatemi has published in leadingacademicjournalsincluding:JournalofFinance,JournalofBusiness Research, Journal of Economic Psychology, Global Finance Journal, Pacific- Basin Finance Journal, Financial Services Review, and Japan and the World Economy.
