He has kept a daily journal most of his life and has been the family historian for many years. He has served as a Family History Center Director and Family History Consultant for many years. He has researched and cleared thousands offamily names for the temple and conducted family temple excursions to do these names. He and his wife Angie have been family name extractors and indexers since 1983 for the LDS Church. Anyone, regardless ofreligion, may enter a Latter-Day Saint meetinghouse and attend services. However, because ofthe sacredness oftemples as "houses of the Lord," only members ofthe Church who are in good standing are allowed to enter the temples. A member must be observing the basic principles ofthe faith and attest to that fact to his or her local leaders once every two years in order to enter a temple. Ref.
