NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 19th January, 2001
S.O. 70(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred
by sub-section (3) of section 4 of the Coir Industry Act,
1953 (45 of 1953), read with rules 4 and 5 of the Coir
Industry Rules, 1954, the Central Government hereby
appoints the Director, Cottage and Small Scale Industries,
Government of West Bengal to be a member of the Coir
Board till 6th September, 2001 and for the said purpose
makes the following amendments in the notification of
the Government of India in the Ministry of Industry
(Department of Small Scale Industries and Agra and Rural
Industries) Number S.O. 784(E), dated the 7th September,
1998, namely:—
In the said notification under the heading Appointed
under clause (f) of sub-seclion (3) of section 4, against
serial No, 20, the following shall l3e inserted, namely:—
Director, Cottage and Small Scale Industries.

Foot Note :—The notification for constitution of the Coir
Board was issued vide number S O. 7S4(E) dated the 7th
September. 1999 and subsequently amended vide numbers
(1) S.O. 38(E) dated the 28th January, 1999, (2).
S.O. 166(E) dated the 11th March, 1999 and
(3) SO. 410 (E) dated the 26th April, 2000
