S. R. 62(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by clause(b) of Sub-section(2) of Section 156 of the Indo- Tibetan Border Police Force Act, 1992 (3 5 of 1992), the Central Government hereby makes the following rules to amend the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Veterinary Cadre (Group 'A') Recruitment Rules, 1999, namely :— 1. (l) These rules may be called the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Veterinary Cadre (Group 'A') Recruitment (Amendment) Rules, 2000. (ii) These shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2 In the Schedule to the Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Veterinary Cadre (Group 'A') Recruitment Rules, 1999, against serial number 3 relating to the post of Assistant Commandant (Veterinary Assistant Surgeon) in column 7, for the existing entry the following entry shall be substituted, namely •— "Not Exceeding 30 Years" (Relaxable for Government Servants upto 5 Years in accordance with the Instructions or Orders issued by the Central Government from time to time) Note :—The crucial date for determining the age-limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from candidates in India (and not the closing date prescribed for those in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura, Sikkim, Ladakh Division of Jammu and Kashmir State, Lahaul and Spiti District of Himachal Pradesh, Andaman & Nicobar Islands or Lakshadweep).
