O. 33(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 15 of the Indian Veterinary Council Act 1984 (52 of 1984), the Central Government, after consulting the Veterinary Council of India, hereby recognises certain veterinary qualifications specified in this notification and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in THE FIRST SCHEDULE to the said Act so as to include such qualifications therein, namely — In THE FIRST SCHEDULE to the said Act, under the sub-heading ''DEGRESS" (i) against serial number 2 relating to the Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University, in column 3, after the abbreviations "B V. Sc ", the following entries shall be inserted, namely :— "This qualification shall be a recognised veterinary qualification as aforesaid when granted on or before 25th November, 1998 ". (ii) against serial number 32 relating to Panjabrao Krishi Vidyapeeth in column 3, after the abbreviations "B. V. Sc. & A. H ", the following entries shall be inserted, namely :— "This qualification shall be a recognised veterinary qualification as aforesaid when granted on or before 5th November, 1995.", (iii) against serial numbers 51, 52 and 53, in column 3, the word and figures' 'to 31-12-2000" shall respectively be omitted; (iv) after serial number 53 and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely — THE FIRST SCHEDULE (See section 2 (e) and section 15) Recognised Veterinary Qualifications Granted by Universities or Veterinary Institutions in India. Patna Science and Animal This qualification shall be a Husbandry recognised veterinary qualification as aforesaid when granted in the year 1961. - 55. Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Bachelor of Veterinary B. V. Sc. & A. H. Krishi Vidyapeeth, Science and Animal This qualification shall be a Akola Husbandry recognised veterinary qualification as aforesaid only when granted on or after the 6th November 1995. 56 Acharya N. G. Ranga Bachelor of Veterinary B. V. Sc. & A. H. Agricultural University, Science and Animal This qualification shall be a Hyderabad Husbandry recognised veterinary qualification as aforesaid only when granted on or after the 26th November 1998. 57 Marathwada Agricultural Bachelor of Veterinary B V. Sc & A.
