L.-33004/98 The Gazette of India EXTRAORDINARY PART II—Section 3—Sub-section (i) PUBLISHED BY AUTHORITY No. 2T| NEW DELHI, THURSDAY, JANUARY 14, 1999/PAUSA 24,1920 I35 G1/99 (1) 2 THE GAZETTE OF INDIA : EXTRAORDINARY [PART II—SEC. 3(i)] MINISTRY OF PERSONNEL, PUBLIC GRIEVANCES AND PENSIONS (Department of Personnel & Training) NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 14th January, 1999 G.S.R. 35(E).—In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) read with sub-section (1 A), of Section 3 of the All India Services Act, 1951 (6 of 1951), the Central Government, after consultation with the Governments of the States concerned, hereby makes the following rules fur- ther to amend the All India Services (Death-cum-Retire- ment Benefits) Rules, 1958, namely :— 1. (1) These rules may be called the All India Ser- vices (Death-cum-Retirement Benefits) Amendment Rules, 1999. (2) They shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January, 1996. 2.
