NOTIFICATION
New Delhi, the 15th January, 1998
No. 03/98-NT-CUSTOMS
S.O. 46 (E) .—In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause
(i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes
the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue
No. 73/97-NT-Cus. [S.O. 905 (E)] dated 26th December, 1997, namely ;—
In the Schedule-I of the said Notification for serial No. 2, 3, 5, 8,11 and 14 and Schedule-II of the said notification for
serial No. 1 and 3 the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :—
SI. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign
currency equivalent to Indian rupees.

SCHEDULE-II

currency equivalent to Indian rupees.
1. Belgian Francs 108.00
3. Japanese Yen 31.05
These rates will be effective from I6th January, 1998.
