Bartlett, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral fellow at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, and a clinical psychologist at the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center in Baltimore, Md. Dr. Bartlett authored two chapters of the ACE Lifestyle & Weight Management Consultant Manual. Jennifer S. Bolger, M.S., received her masters in exercise physiology from San Diego State University. She is the Fitness Program Director at the Mission Valley YMCA in San Diego, Calif. It is there that she developed the 12-week Personalized Fitness Program, which is designed to help underactive adults make a behavior change to include regular physical activity into their lives. John L. Boyer, M.D., is a past president of the American College of Sports Medicine and an Emeritus Professor in the College of Professional Studies at San Diego State University. He has a 35-year background in medicine and cardiology with emphasis on risk-factor modification in the prevention and rehabilitation of cardiovascular disorders. Lawrence J. Cheskin, M.D., F.A.C.P., is an associate professor of medicine and director of the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center. He is the author of Losing Weight for Good: Develop Your Personal Plan of Action (Johns Hopkins Press), as well as a board- certified gastroenterologist. Laura A. Gladwin, M.S., is the president of LGA Fitness Consulting & Training, Brea, Calif., a firm that provides training in the development of senior fitness/wellness programming to fitness professionals and organizations worldwide. She also serves on the National Coalition for Developing Curriculum Standards for Senior Fitness Specialists (SFA), the advisory board for SFA, is director of Senior Fitness for AFAA, and is a member of the advisory board and teaching staff for the Senior Fitness Certificate Program at California State University,
