THE EVERGREEN ; YEARBOOK 1994 vol. 67 Foreword It is the purpose of the sixty-seventh edition of The Evergreen to keep alive and evergreen in the hearts of students of Salisbury State Univer¬ sity, the spirit of co-operation, loyalty, and willingness to work and win, which has made possible this record of the year's progress. 1101 Camden Avenue • Salisbury, Maryland 21801-6863 Mark Dillow, also known as "Pig Pen", demonstrates his expertise with his Delva sticks during "Meet the Greeks" in the Quad. As we went through the days, it seemed events centered upon each of us. We chose our classes; we chose our meal times; we chose which parties to attend. New clubs and programs were created for our interests. Even the physical changes all around us were geared toward us. With the opening of the new com¬ puter labs, we could even choose what sys¬ tem to do our papers on. Propane powered vehicles replaced the traditional golf carts for deliveries of our pizza from Sammy's, for lowered environmental impact. So as we reminisce, remember how the world moved about us and was centered all around you. Jen Vassel and J.J. Walker share a quiet moment outside of St. Martin's Hall. Corporal Dennis Bradford - the few, the proud, the campus police. Student Life *3 The Haunting The University had a great time during Halloween, with a masterful haunted house performed by the student theater group Sophanes, pumpkin carving con¬ tests, a special dinner at the dining hall and several costume dances. Double, double, toil and trouble, fire burn and cauldron bubble. David Shuhy gets his fill of the fair young maiden Georgia Chipouras. : m §pp ssf 4 K N 4* Student Life Halloween's pumpkins turn into Thanksgiving's pumpkin pie. Rob McKellar, Dave Urbont, Cris Gagner and Virginia Stubbs enjoy at¬ tempting to scare all those with a will¬ ing suspension of disbelief in the Sophanes haunted house.
