It is an atmo- sphere that breathes responsibility along with warmth and con- sideration. It is an at- mosphere that comes from the very heart of Loyola--its people. From the simple act of someone holding open a door as you struggle * with your umbrella in the rain, to student demonstrations for peace, Loyola cares. In the tradition ofthe Je- suits, Loyola College is continually growing and changing. Students made the most out of the new study abroad pro- gram Bangkok, to SGA while worked on installing an Honor Code. Plans for con- struction began on the new Jesuit Resi- dence, and Fr. Ro- nald Anton, S.J. was appointed as the new dean ofthe Business School. Students helped Mother Earth by beginning a cam- pus-wide recycling program, and on Maryland Day, Dr. Charles LoPresto was named Teacher Commu- ofthe Year. members nity service continued to volun- teer in the surround- ing community, and fans went wild as Men’s Lacrosse went NCAA on to the play- offs.
