A taxonomic monograph of the genus Solariola Flach, 1908 (Coleoptera:
Curculionidae: Entiminae). Zootaxa, 4676: 001–261.
In our recent revision of the genus Solariola Flach, we described a number of new species. Unfortunately however,
two of the new species names each has two alternate spellings in the publication. This nomenclatural problem (see
ICZN article 24.2.3) can be resolved by us acting as First Reviser (under ICZN article 24.2.4), and here selecting
which of the two names is the valid name for each of the two species.
The species names are Solariola gratiensis and S. graziaensis, and S. selinusia and S. selinuntina.
We here select Solariola gratiensis and Solariola selinusia as the valid names for these two species. Solariola
graziaensis and S. selinuntina are thus unavailable names.
