A large outline 1. map of Texas will be divided into five sections so that each group will place its information on one particular section. The Panhandle area of Texas will contain the collage reflecting state profile data on population. a. The Western area of Texas will contain the collage reflecting state profile data on environment. b. The Central area of Texas will contain the collage reflecting state profile data on symbols. c. The Eastern area of Texas will contain the collage reflecting state profile data on business. d. The Southern area of Texas will contain the collage reflecting data on your school population, e. mascot, types of business in the area, and natural resources in the area. C; Students will be divided into six groups. Each group will select one of these social issues under the 2. a Poverty Level, AIDS, Hazardous Waste, Violent Crime, Child Abuse, and Miscellaneous Categories Public Aid and, using the data on page 9 and their own research, will prepare a presentation to the III class. Students should address each issue from these two perspectives. It is the government's responsibility to create and fund programs for these societal problems. a.
