The operation consists of four small quarries on the bench northeast of Gardiner. Application for Amendment No. 001 was received on Nov. 13, 1992. This amendment would allow expansion of one of the existing quarries onto an additional 1.4 acres. PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT Topography and Geology: The proposal would create a minor alter- ation in the local topography. A rise of land approximately 2 feet in height would be mined out, resulting in a gently sloping configuration. This slope would be revegetated. 1
