ABOUT THE E DITOR Genevieve S . Owens is P rogram Manager for I nformation Resources Selection at Bucknell University's Bertrand Library. She has pre­ viously b een a reference librarian a nd Head o f Collection D evelop­ ment at the University o f Missouri-St. Louis. She earned a BA in En­ glish from the University of K entucky and an MS in Library and Information S cience from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Cham­ paign. Ms. Owens is active in the Association for Library Collections and Technical S ervices, p articularly i ts L ibrary Materials P rice I ndex Committee and C ollection Management a nd D evelopment Section.
