Description:The two volumes of Whitfield's Electrical Craft Principles have been substantially revised and updated in 2008, reflecting changes in practice and legislation (e.g. BS 7671 / Requirements for Electrical Installations). Volume 2 in particular has new material to accompany course changes. The volumes are presented in a new format, are highly illustrated and contain full problems and solutions.The Institution of Engineering and Technology prepares regulations for the safety of electrical installations for buildings, the IEE Wiring Regulations (BS 7671), which has now become the standard for the UK and many other countries. It has also prepared the Code of Practice for Installation of Electrical and Electronic Equipment in Ships (BS 8450) and recommends, internationally, the requirements for Mobile and Fixed Offshore Installations.
