Jacobsen Author Index Volume 132 Contents Volume 132 ANNOUNCEMENT Rapid reviewing and publication of short original papers Earth and Planetary Science Letters publishes an “Express Letter Section" for short, original papers. To qualify for publication in the Express Letter Section, papers should meet the following criteria: * They should be highly original and/or contain new results of unusual importance. Their length should not exceed 5 journal pages. They should be sent to the appropriate editor by the fastest possible means and clearly marked “Express Letter". Three copies of the paper should be submitted, accompanied with the original figures and a diskette bearing the text, preferably in DOS format (detailed specifications for diskette submission are given in the “Notes to Contributors"). The total time from submission to publication will be approximately 3 months.
