We are pleased to be able to present the first ever offered example of 1800 NC-1. In addition to the numerous other rare varieties, such as 94 C-lb, S-33, s-38, S -66 , s-94, & 95,S-198 03 NC-1 and S-272 many choice condition census pieces are offered. We also include a virtually complete large cent collection by date and Redbook variety formed over a number of years by Evan Kopald. The majority of the pieces are in a high state of preservation and choice condition. Evan, who now resides in Rancho Mirage,California, began collecting coins when he spent afternoons after school in his father's drug store on Melrose Ave.in Hollywood during the 1950's. He became interested in large cents while he was completing a high grade type set of US coins. His fascination with the series led him to collect large cents exclusively. He is selling this portion of his collection in order to focus his collecting on the late date cents of 1840- 1849 . The sale will be held at 7:30 p.m. Saturday night January 9th on the mezzanine level of the Clarion hotel in Orlando Fla. We welcome you to attend in person, or as the majority of our clients do, to bid by mail. Lots will be available for viewing at our table #818 during FUN convention hours. Or upon request ar rangementscan be made to send lots for your personal inspection. As always feel free to call Bob (407-321-8747) or Chris (405-341-2213) to discuss any lot in the sale.
