He also stated that when he leaves Drury he will bring with him many fond memories ofcolleagues and students. y to *: I III Welcome to your yearbook. "Something Different" is its name, and inside are all the dances, pep rallies and games. "Here come the freshmen!" the Sophomores all cheer. "Thank God we're not on the bottom this year!" Freshmen and pep rallies gave '92 a start, it was time for Jostens and Drury to part. Herff Jones took over where Jostens left off, boys soccer gave their cheer, "MAZETOV!" At the parade there was finally sun, it was no big surprise when the Drury band won. Our first pep rally somewhat lacked in cheer. It's OK, it was just the first one of the year. If girls' soccer didn't do so hot, S'OK, next year you have -fa*/****^ another shot. Our dances this year were totally cool, had Homecoming at the Legion and Frosh Reception at school. Cross Country really kept up the pace, going to Western Mass. to finish the race. Spirit Week had colors and cowboys, hats and big hair to cheer on our boys. Jason DeGrenier won Mr. Sexy legs, we just hope it won't go to his head. "If not us who, If not now when?" Drury vs. Hoosac, we lost again. Ourplay"OurTown"createdan Epiphany, featuring Erica, Jules, Amy, Matt, Allison and Tiffany. — Finally Last year's freshmen, now a lot wiser & older, now that we're not the youngest, a little bit bolder. Finally after yearsof / waiting, 1 am a freshman!!! There are so many things I want to do this year! First of all I want to throw Jason DeGrenier into the dumpster, that's the dream of every freshman. And my locker, with those ! awesome inspirational colors, 1 can't wait to get one of my own! I'm so excited about helping people open their lockers, especially the seniors, because they need the help the most. And Mr. Whats-His-Name, the prin- r cipal, I have a few new and original ideas for him about school policies. I can't wait to see all of my old —friendsat lunch. We had thebest idea to walk up to a bunch of seniors, sit down to eat with them, and then make them bring up our trays. After all, theycan't hurtus,we're FRESH- MEN!!! •J D.H.S. principal Mr. Cirone attempts to make the freshmen feel at ease by showing them that even HE needs the #?*#?* combination in writing. 2-15-6 or is it 15-2-6? Final score: Locker I, Cirone j^ 4 First Day — — Lockers Freshmen 1, "Romper Room" "Crazy' "Big-Scary'' "Confusing' "Indescribable' Freshmen classmates Heather Soskin, Devon Carrier, and Melissa Thayer relax at lunch. Gina Morell remains calm on the outside as she battles the metal monster. Joe Bouley "No wonder it wouldn't open. It's not the right locker!" September 15, 1992. Dear Diary, 162 days left. 162 days left of being tortured by the seniors I tried tohelp with their lockers, the senior I tried to put in the dumpster (I asked himwhathisnamewas, hetoldmeMINEwas mud)theseniorsITRIEDtositwithatlunch, and of course, the senior I said reminded me m ofDan Quayle. Why? Whatswrongwith Dan Quayle? What's wrong with me? At least I THAT figured out. I'm a . . . freshman, and . . . theycan hurt me. Bad. Especially in Cor- ridor B. The one without the colors. First Day 5 Friends Forever!
