1. Teaching: Preparation and delivery of Anatomy lectures, seminars and

tutorials for undergraduate medical, nursing and B.Med.Sc. students in Allied

Health disciplines of Dentistry, Optometry, Occupational Therapy, Pharmacy

and Anatomy. Postgraduate teaching and supervision in Clinical Anatomy for

candidates in Masters (M.Med.Sc. and MMed Registrars) and Doctorate levels.

2. Research activities/focus: Testicular histomorphometry, andrology,

endocrinology and anatomical education.

Leader of Morphology & Andrology Group (MAG) which strives to create a

stimulating and diverse research and training environment of international

standing within which important and exciting areas of structural anatomy and

morphometry can be executed adopting relevant techniques. The group utilizes

latest technology in fluorescence and electron microscopy, PCR and PCR-based

analysis as well as adopting high-end stereological analyses to show the impacts

on reproductive wellbeing using experimental animal models of testicular

toxicants.

Supervision of students at Honors, M.Sc. and Ph. D levels within the Discipline

of Clinical Anatomy. Co-supervisory roles with the Discipline of Physiology,

Psychiatry as well as Surgery and Radiology.
