Inthesummer of2002,asingle femalespecimenofapeculiar dorcascematine specieswas emerged out from adead branch of an unidentified broad-leaved tree, whichwascollected fromAni-jimaIslandoftheOgasawaraIslands,byMr.Hirokazu FUKUToMl inthespringofthesameyear,andwassubmittedtomefortaxonomicex- amination. Thedorcascematine species in question actually belongs to the genus 01enecamptus,andseemtobeclosestto0.cretaceusBATES.However,thisspeciescan beeasilydistinguished fromall known 01enecamptusspeciesincluding 0. cretaceus bytheuniquemarkingsofelytraandthebodyform. Iamthereforegoingtodescribeit asanewspeciesinthepresentpaper. Color almost light reddish brown,partiallydarkreddishbrowninfemora,tarsi,scapeandapicalareasofantennal segments3-11,eyesandmandiblesblack.Bodylargelyclothedwithshortgraypubes- 226 Michiaki HAst-c^、、'A cenceanddecoratedwithwhitescales;headwithshortgraypubescence, thepubes- cencedenseongenae,apicalhalfof fronsandmarginsofeyes,anddecoratedwith small indistinctwhitepatchesinmiddleareaandalongbasalmarginofocciput;anten- naewithscapeto4thsegmentsverysparselywithshortgraypubescence,andapical halfof4thtolithsparselywithshortblackhairs;pronotumrathersparselywithgray pubescenceexcept formidline,withbroadwhite vittaeatsides ofdisc;scutellum sparselywithgraypubescence;elytrasparselywithgraypubescence,eachdecorated withabroadvermiculatewhitevitta,whoseexternalmarginisconcaveinaU-shapeat theposteriorpartofshoulderandbasal2/3.Sidesofbodydecoratedwithbroadwhite vittaeextendingfrompronotumtoapexofabdomen.Venterofbodydenselyclothed withgraypubescence. Note. 01eneamptus fukutomlI is similar to 0. c1-etaceus BATES from Japan, KoreaandTaiwan, inhavingthecloselytransversely rugosepronotum, thenarrowly obliquelytruncateelytra1apiceswhichareprovidedwithsmallrectangularteethatex- ternalangles, thewhitescalesondorsalandlateralsurface, thegraypubescenceon ventralsurface,andtwosemicircularincisionsontheexternalmarginsofwhitevittae ontheelytraasinthoseof0.cl・etaceus.However,thenewspeciescanbeeasilydistin- guishedfromalltheother 01enecamptusspeciesincluding0.cretaceusbytheunique elytra1markingsandbodyform. Etymology. Thespecificepithet isdedicatedtoMr. HirokazuFuKuToMl who collectedthisinterestingspecies. 要 約 長谷川道明:小笠原諸島から発見されたシロカミキリ属の1新種. - 2002年の春に, 名 古屋市の福富宏和氏によって小笠原諸島兄島から採集された広葉樹の枯枝から, 同年の夏に羽 化脱出した非常に特異な大型のシロカミキリ属の1種に, オガサワラオオシロカミキリ 0/eneca,nptusfi,kuto,m,という新名をつけて記載した. この種は, 形態上の各種の特徴から, 日 本, 朝鮮半島および台湾に分布するオオシロカミキリ0.c・letaceusに類縁性の高い種であると考 えられる.
