Iwanttothankthesecollegesanduniversities fortheirdemonstratedinvestmentinourcity'syouth—theircontinuedeffortsto provideprofessionaldevelopmentandtraining,studentscholarshipsandoutreach programs,andenhancedaccesstohighereducationthroughinnovative programming. LastMarch,webegantoformallydocumentscholarshipprogramsavailableto Bostonpublicschoolgraduates.Wepreparedapreliminarybookletwiththe understandingthatoverthenextfewyearsresourceswouldbeaugmented. An increaseofcollegecommitmentsisalreadyreflectedinthisupdateddirectory. Thisdirectorybringsusonestepclosertothegoalofhelpingpromisingstudents togainaccesstocollege.
