This title presents a selection of papers that were first presented in an international workshop "Varieties and Dimensions of Conscious Experience", held at the University of Skovde, in November 1997. The idea of the workshop was to bring together a small number of researchers who share in common an interest in conscious experience but approach the phenomenon from different angles.
