Acknowledgments As any good scrapbooker knows, photos provide the foundation for our memo- ries, but words tell the story. We’d like to acknowledge the help, support, direc- tion, attention, affection, love, hot food, and cold beverages, as well as oceans of coffee, provided to us by our loved ones, friends, editors, and scrapbook lovers throughout the land. In particular, the Beacham-Lachance-Dunham clan and the Davis-Synal family—thank you John and Larry, the best in-house tech support anyone could ask for (heavy on the support, low on the tech!). To our assorted family members and friends who appear throughout this book—feel the love. Wade, Emilie and Brittanie—thanks for being accommodating as well as photogenic. Thanks to our editors Kevin Harreld and Kelli Crump. Great ideas, great “red pencil”. We’d like to thank our technical editor, Angela Cable, who also contributed CD resources, as well as our favorite supplier of fabulous photographs, Darth Vector him- self, Ron Lacey. The folks at Digital Scrapbook Place deserve special thanks, particularly owner/design- ers Margie Lundy and Amanda Behrmann, as well as designers Lauren Bavin, Kim Lid- diard, and Jenna Robertson. We’d also like to thank Janice “Maya” Dye-Szucs and Tracy Pori for their contributions to our CD resources. Special thanks to Ray Larabie, Ronna Penner, and House of Lime for some fabulous fonts—please visit the sites listed in the book’s Appendix A to see more work from these terrific designers. Many scrapbook designers, both paper and digital, contributed artwork for this book. We’d like to thank Jenny Bamford-Perkins, Kristin Cronin-Barrow, Pat Goettels, Jeri Ingalls, and Samuel Kordik. Very special thanks go to Cindi Bisson for guiding (and bearing with!) Sally through her head-long rush into paper scrapbooking, and to Sandi Ducote for dragging Sally kicking and screaming into digital scrapbooking. Without her, this book would never have come to be. vi TEAM LinG - Live, Informative, Non-cost and Genuine !
