John Archer, PhD, is Professor of Psychology at the University of Central Lancashire,Preston,UnitedKingdom.HereceivedaPhDfromtheUniversity ofBristolin1970.AFellowoftheBritishPsychologicalSocietyandPresident of the International Society for Research on Aggression, his research is con- cerned with human aggression, grief and loss, and sex differences.
