Abstract Descriptionsof fournewspeciesof theCoccine1lidae(Apidilne1・us1・e一(・:
tangulafus, A. set'ratus, CI'yflfogomlspa,'orbiculus, and C. polyt1・lc1/us) from Vietnan、
andshortdiagnosesofthegenera.Aspldime・lusandCI・J,ptogo,1usaregiven.
Thepresent papergivesdescriptionsoftwonewspecieseachof thegeneraAs-
pldimerus MuLsANT and Cr)ptogonus MuLsANT of the tribe Aspidimerini. All ot
them were collected in Vietnam. Typespecimens aredeposited in the Institute of
BiologyandPedology, Far EastBranch of theUSSR AcademyofSciences (FEA),
andtheLaboratoryofEntomology,SouthChinaAgriculturalUniversity(SCAU).
The Aspidimerini areclosely related to theScymnini andeasilyseparable from
all theothertribesoftheCoccine1lidaeincludingtheScymninibythecombinationof
the followingcharacters: Body small tomedium insize and densely pubescent on
dorsum. Antennaeextremelyshort, geniculate, andcomposed of eight or nineseg-
mentsof which the two basal onesarestronglyenlarged. Eyesmarginatedbyvery
narrowlateralextensionsofclypeusandforwardlyproducedgenae. Femorabroadly
expanded and fiat. Posterior margin of the first abdominal sternum convex in a
strongarchposteriorly.

Bodymoderatelylarge, oval in outline,moderately convex; dorsumpubescent.
Prosternumevenlyconvex,carinaeaswideapartasthebasalwidthofpresternalpro-
cess, divergent anteriorly, not meetingeach other but usually becoming indistinct
beforetheanterior margin, thepart between thecarinaeconvex, wideninganteriorly
and formingachin-band; entiresurfaceofprosternumwithuniformlycoarsepuncta-
tion and long, suberect pubescence. Pronotum transverse, nearly twice as wide as
long; posteriormarginaswideasthebaseofelytra.

Length:2.2-2.4mm; width:1.8mm.
Form oval in outline, moderately convex; dorsal pubescence grey. Head yel-
lowjshbrowninmaleanddarkinfemale;mouth-partdarkbrown,antennaeyellowish
brown,pronotumandscutellumblack,elytronblackwithayellowishS-spotextending
fromthemedianparttolateralmargin;venterandlegsyellowishbrown. Prosternum
with two intercoxal carinaeextending toandreachinganterior margin. Malegen-
italiaasshowninFig. 1B-D.

Length:2.4-2.5mm;width:2.0mm.
Formoval in outline, moderatelyconvex; dorsal pubescencegrey. Head dark
brown,mouth-partsdarkbrown,antennaeyellowishbrown;pronotumblackexcept
for yellowish brown in anterior margin;scutellumblack; elytron black with apale
spot in themedian part; venterand legsdarkbrown. Prosternum with two inter-
coxalcarinaeextendingtoandreachinganterior margin. Male genitalia as shown
inFig 2B-D.

Bodysmall tomedium-sized, oval tosubrounded,moderatelyconvex to rather
subhemispherical, punctateandpubescent on both thedorsalandventral surfaces.
Prosternumobtriangular,flat,withapairofcarinaewhicharesubpara11e1inthebasal
half, eithersubpara1le1, wider or narrower in the apical half, and always meeting
each otherinanarchalittlebeforeorattheanteriormargin.
3. CryptogonllsparorbiculusKUzNETsovetPANGHong,sp nov.
(Fig 3)
Length:2.3mm;width:1.7mm.
Formoval inoutline,moderatelyconvex;dorsalpubescencegreyishwhite. Head
dark brown, mouth-partsandantennaecastaneous; pronotum blackexcept for an-
teriormargincastaneous,scutellumblack;elytronblackwithayellowishbrownspot
inthemedianpart; venter and legsdarkbrown. Prosternumwithtwocarinaesub-
parallel toeachother andmeetingina roundarchat theanteriormargin. Male
genitaliaasshowninFig 3 B-D,similar to thoseofC.o,・biculus,butwithpubescence

Length:2.5-2.6mm; width:2.0-2.1mm.
Bodyoval in outline,convex; dorsal pubescencegrey. Head yellowish brown,
anterior margin of clypeuscastaneous; mouth-partsand antennae castaneous; pro-
notumandscutellumblack;elytronblack;venterandlegsdarkbrown. Prosternum
withtwocarinaemeetingeach other inaroundarch,andextendingto t/5distanceto
theanteriormargin. MalegenitaliaasshowninFig 4B-E.

V. KUzNETsov・PANG Hong: ウェトナム産マルヒメテントウ族の4新極. - ウ'ェトナムから,
マルヒメテントウ族Aspidimeriniの4新種を記載した. うち2種はマルヒメテントウ属AsPidimerus
に, 他の2種はフタモンクロテントウ属Cryptogonusに属する. それぞれの属の特徴を要約し, 新種
4. rectangutus, A.serratus,C.parorbiculusおよびC. polytrichusの学名を与えた.

Nihon University, l had an opportunity to examine Eucorynus crassicornis (FABRIcIus,
1801) collectedby himself on theMariana Islands. Thisanthribidisa、videspreadspecies,
distributed from MauritiustoIndia, Indochina,China, thePhilippinesandtheSolomons.
Upto thepresent, however, thereis norecord of thespeciesfrom the Mariana Islands.
