In organizing this workshop we benefited from the assis- tance of a number of institutions and individuals. Funding for the workshop was provided by a Macquarie University Visiting Scholar Award, a Macquarie University Research Fellowship (awarded to Jordi Fernández), the Macquarie University Philosophy Department, and the Macquarie Center for Cognitive Science (MACCS). We would like to thank John Sutton and Peter Menzies for their advice in planning the workshop, Katie Webb for ensuring that the work- shop ran so smoothly, Paul Dukes of Psychology Press for his editorial assistance in producing this volume, and two referees for their very useful comments on a draft of this volume. Finally, we would like to thank Max Coltheart, both for his initial support for the project and his help in seeing it through to completion. vii Editors Tim Bayne is University Lecturer in Philosophy of Mind at the University of Oxford and a fellow of St. Catherine’s College.
