No. (7)DCF/TC/North/DPTA/B.S./2013-14/8786-94.—Whereas the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi considers it necessary to do so in the public interest, Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 29 of the Delhi Preservation of Trees Act, 1994 (Delhi Act 11 of 1994), the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby exempts an area of total 5.6 ha. as detailed below for construction of Comprehensive Development Corridor (Outer Ring Road) between Mukarba Chowk and Wazirabad Chowk, Delhi by Public Works Department, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, from the provision of Sub-Section of Section 9 of the said Act. (cid:9) PART IV] DELHI GAZETTE EXTRAORDINARY c) The wood obtained on removal of trees shall be handed over by the PWD to the officials concerned of MCD for its use on public crematoria in Delhi in consultation with the territorial DCFs. d) Before shifting of wood from site of removal of trees, transportation permission for transportation of the said wood shall be obtained from Tree Officer (North). The day/date of polling and two days immediately preceding the day/date of polling b. during any election/bye election to be conducted by the Election Commission of India within the National Capital Territory of Delhi; Any other date/day desired to be observed as such in emergent cases or may delete any date c. from the above list. The licensees shall not be entitled to any compensation on account of any changes effected in the above list. The restriction of sale on liquor on dry days mentioned above shall not apply to the service of liquor to residents in case of hotels having L-15 licence.
