NOTIFICATIONS
Delhi, the 17th January, 2013
F. No. 20/4/2003/HP-111373.—Whereas, there have been frequent instances and complaints of traffic congestion
caused by the movement of heavy and medium goods vehicles on Kalindi Kunj Barrage and whereas in view of the ongoing
civil works on Kalindi Kunj Barrage, it is necessary to ensure smooth flow of traffic and prevent congestion besides
inconvenience to motorists and other road users on account of movement of heavy and medium goods vehicles on
Mathura Road from Badarpur Border to Ashram Chowk which cause congestion and also endanger the life and safety of
other road users.
And whereas, in view of the problems of traffic congestion on Mathura Road, it is necessary to regulate the
movement of traffic in larger public interest, maintenance of public order and for the convenience and safety of all road
users on Mathura Road from Badarpur Border to Ashram Chowk.
Now, therefore, I, Sharat Kumar Sinha, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (Hqrs.) Delhi in exercise of the
powers conferred upon me under regulation 30(1) of the "Delhi Control of Vehicular and Other Traffic on Roads and Streets
Regulation, 1980" do hereby prohibit the entry, plying and idle parking of Heavy and Medium Goods Vehicles on Mathura
Road from Badarpur Border to Ashram Chowk during day time i.e. from 7.00 AM to 10.00 PM till 22nd February, 2013 instead
of earlier peak hours restrictions i.e. 7.30 AM to 11.00 AM and 5.00 PM to 9.30 PM.
This order shall be published for the information of the general public in the official gazette and by affixing a copy
on the notice boards of the office of all District Deputy Commissioners of Police and all Police Stations in Delhi/New Delhi.
The concerned civic road agencies maintaining the roads/areas shall erect the corresponding signboards indicat-
ing the restrictions in the area for information and convenience of all concerned.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect and remain in force till 22nd February, 2013,

caused by the movement of heavy and medium goods vehicles in the NCT of Delhi and whereas in view of the ongoing
preparations for the Republic Day-2013 in the National Capital, it is necessary to ensure smooth flow of traffic and prevent
congestion besides inconvenience to motorists and other road users on account of movement of heavy and medium goods
vehicles which cause congestion and also endanger the life and safety of other road users particularly on National Highway
No. 8, National Highway No. 24, Grand Trunk Road (Shandara) and Wazirabad Road.
And whereas in view of the problems of traffic congestion on these important highways and arterial roads it is
necessary to regulate the movement of traffic in large public interest, maintenance of public order and for the convenience
and safety of all road users on these roads.
Now, therefore, I, Sharat Kumar Sinha, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Traffic (Hqrs.) Delhi in exercise of the
powers conferred upon me under regulation 30(1) of the "Delhi Control of Vehicular and Other Traffic on Roads and Streets
Regulation, 1980" do hereby prohibit the entry, plying and idle parking of Heavy and Medium Goods Vehicles during peak
hours from 7.00 AM to 11.00 PM and 5.00 PM to 10.00 PM till 31st January, 2013 instead of earlier peak hours i.e. 7.30 AM
' to 11.00 AM arid 5.00 PM to 9.30 PM on the following mentioned roads :—

No. 687 dated 10-12-2012, Shri Navlendra Kumar Singh, DANICS has joined as Sub-Divisional Magistrate (Model Town)
Distt. North on 11-12-2012 (A/N). Now therefore :

(1)
(1) of Section 27 of the Punjab Land Revenue Act, 1887 (Punjab Act No. XVII of 1887) as enforced in the
National Capital Territory of Delhi, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby confers upon
Shri Navlendra Kumar Singh, DANICS the power of Assistant Collector, 1st Class under the said Act in the said
territory w.e.f. the date of assumption of charge and so long as he holds the post of Sub-Divisional Magistrate
in the Revenue Department or till further orders whichever is earlteri.

(1) of Section 15 read with 223 of the Uttar Pradesh Land Revenue Act, 1901 ( Act No. III of 1901) as extended
to the National Capital Territory of Delhi, the Lt. Governor of National Capital Territory of Delhi hereby
appoints Shri Navlendra Kumar Singh, DANICS as Assistant Collector, 1st Class under the said Act in the said
territory, and confers upon him all the powers of Collector under the said Act in the said territory we.f the date
of assumption of charge and so long as he holds the post of Sub-Divisional Magistrate in the Revenue
