Filmmakers face extreme conditions and adventures in order to bring us fascinating stories and images as is evident in this year’s opening film POLARWÖLFE - Das Abenteuer. In the far north of Canada lies one of the most inhospitable regions of the world. Few animals have survived here year-round: Ellesmere Island.
