The completion of this work is the result of a process, perhaps best understood by
thinking of the concept of iteration: It is rooted in restatements and reformulations of
initial notions after they were transformed and refined because of their exposure to other
people’s thoughts and other areas of knowledge. All of those successive explorations
yielded this final manuscript, and it would have never been possible without the support
and encouragement of so many people personally and professionally.
It is very difficult to list all of those who shaped, influenced and facilitated this work,
