Cytometix is a privately funded, emerging pharmaceutical company focused on pre-clinical development of a lipid compound for pain. Cytometix was awarded an SBIR grant to validate the prospective use of this analgesic therapy from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA). Cytometix is also in early development of a therapeutic for asthma. The company has obtained over $8million dollars in Private Investment Capital (Angel Investments). An IND Application from FDA is currently pending. We anticipate initiation of Phase 1 Clinical Trials beginning November 1 2012.
