This book is the role model of all team efforts! No individual in this team of ‘FAB
FIVE’ can be pinpointed for special credit. Everyone contributed handsomely. As
the eldest in the team, I am exercising my discretion to say a few words more

this manuscript that was
gathering dust for quite

a while. They
volunteered, planned and acted so speedily that I was unable to offer them even
a ‘thank you’.
Arijit’s wife and former journalist Soma Banerjee started the ball rolling. The
brilliant lady’s conception and invaluable guidance led us all the way towards the
book’s publication.
In just one week, Arijit edited the manuscript, selected the pictures, designed the
cover and the layout as well as everything else to do with the publication.
Absolutely outstanding.
Sounak was perpetually at hand with the arduous tasks of editing, correcting, co-
ordinating and providing encouragement. Truly brilliant.
My wife Seema assisted profusely with the editing and endless cups of tea. Once
asked, “West Indies is not one nation, but they play as one team. Why?”
