The evening generated over £400 of which £150 was donated to villager Ebony Court for her sports wheelchair, with the balance of £250 going towards the hall funds for general expenses while loans for the refurbishment are repaid. The hall has just launched its ‘Sound and Vision Appeal’ to raise money for stage cur- tains, lighting and sound system installa- tion. This in turn will help support local organisations and allow more concerts and Cadets join the Rifles plays to be held.
