Co-Linhas a rich tradition ofacademic and athletic success. The workand determination ofour stu- dent athletes have reflected positively on our institution in the past and I am confident the tradition of outstandingachievementwillcontinuewith ourathletes oftoday. In recent years our athletic teams have won state and regional championships and participated in NJCAANationalTournaments. Thisyearwasnoexceptionas Coach GwynYoungandthe LadyWolves BasketballTeamweretheMACJC State Runners-Up. Since 2000, Co-Lin has produced 29 NJCAA All-Americans in baseball, Softball, basketball, golf, and football. We arejust as proud ofthe academic accomplishments ofour students. The Men's Tennis Team was the No. 1 NJCAA Academic Tennis Team ofthe Year and the No. 1 MACJC Men's Academic Team. The LadyWolves Tennis Team was the No. 2 NJCAA Academic Team ofthe Year and the No. 1 MACJC Women's Academic Team ofthe Year. The Lady Wolves Softball Team was the NJCAA's No. 4 AcademicTeam oftheYearin softball. In 2012, Co-Lin led the state with 14 student-athletes receiving NJCAA Academic recognition with three students receiving Pinnacle Awards for Academic Achievement (4.0 grade point average), seven students receiving Superior Academic Achievement (3.8-3.99 GPA),andfourstudentsreceivingExemplaryAcademicAchievement (3.6-3.79GPA). She also serves as the college's director ofpublic information and yearbook advisor. A native ofSavannah, Ga., Davis is a graduate ofthe University ofMississippi with a bach- elor's degree injournalism. Davis is a member ofthe College Public Relations Association ofMississippi (CPRAM), Na- tional Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR), Mississippi Tobacco Free Co- alition, and is a former member ofthe Brookhaven-Lincoln County Chamber ofCommerce Board ofDirectors. She was the recipient ofthe Eta Omega Chapter ofPhi Theta Kappa's Faculty Scholar Award and Co-Lin's High Perfor- mance Award. Davis was selected to Who's Who Among American lunior College Instructors and has received numer- ous awards from the Mississippi Press Association, College Public Relations Association ofMississippi and the National Council ofMarketing and Public Relations. Davis and her husband, Stephen, are the parents oftwo children, Leah and Paul. Robert Williamson, Voice of the Wolfpack Veteran play-by-play announcer Robert Williamson begins his first year as the Voice ofthe Wolfpack. Hebeganhis radiobroadcastingcareeratage 15 andhissportsbroadcastingcareer at 17. His broadcast experience includes NCAA Division I Football and Basketball on the SWAC TV Game ofthe Week, NCAA Division II Basketball, National Championships for NJCAA Division I Football,VolleyballWomen'sBasketball, BaseballandSoftball. Williamsonhasalso broadcast games in the NAIA, communitycolleges in Alabama and Georgia, high schools in Alabama and Florida, as well as Dixie Baseball, Dixie Softball, and Dixie Youth World Series Events. Williamson was nominated in the Top 5 for the College Sports Media Award for his coverage ofthe 2009 NJCAA Na- tional Football Championship. A graduate ofCrestview (FL) High School, Williamson received an Associate ofArts from Okaloosa-Walton Commu- nityCollege and a Bachelor's Degree from the UniversityofWest Florida. He is the owner oftwo radio stations WKWL in Florala, Alabama and WGYV in Greenville, Alabama. His duties in- clude the care, rehabilitation and prevention ofathletic injuries for all sports. A native of Petal, Miss., McClain received his bachelor's degree in health, human perfor- mance and recreation from the University of Southern Mississippi in May of2000 and his master's degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in exercise physiology from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2002. He is a nationally certified and state certified to practice as an athletic trainer in the state ofMississippi. He is a memberofthe National Athletic Trainers Association, Southeastern Athletic Trainers Association, and the Mississippi Athletic Trainers Association. McClain is married to the former Nikki Gill ofWesson. Theyare the parents oftwo sons, Taylor and Ethan. Koenig, Assistant Athletic Trainer Jill AnativeofClinton, Jill KoenigisagraduateofOhio UniversityandIndiana State University. She received a master ofscience in physical education from Ohio Universityand a bachelor ofscience in physical education- sports studies from Indiana State.
