In addition, the following students were named Distinguished Academic All Americans: Amanda Turner (Silver Creek) and Adam Different (Braxton); Academic Ail-Americans named were Sara loy (Natchez), Christopher Dunn and Breck Honea (Magee) and Lance Newman (Brookhaven). We are extremelyproud ofthese teams and individual athletes! In October of 1999, Co-Lin received the prestigious HalbrookAward for having the highest graduation rate among athletes in Mississippi two-year colleges during the 1998-99 season. We are very proud of that accomplishment. The many academic accomplishments by athletes and athletic teams convey a strong message about the priorities at Co-Lin. Our coaching staff is dedicated to providing our athletes with the best training possible, and the opportunity for them to learn and practice good sportsmanship, while enjoying a variety of competitive sports. We deeply appreciate their dedication and hard work to make our athletic programs outstanding. We offer our thanks to our students, family members and patrons for your support of our athletic program. Your continued support ofour athletic programs makes Co-Lin a very special place.
