Since coming to Co-Lin, he has seen his teamwintitleaftertitleand hascompiledarecordof299wins and 11 losses. Capturingthesouthdivisiontournamenttitlein 1991,the Lady Wolves have won the sametitle in 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986, and 1990. South division regularseasoncrowns have been won nine different times including 1976, 1982, 1983, 1985, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1990, and 1991. Youngwas named Region23CoachoftheYearin 1989 when histeam wonthe regionchampionshipandwentonto placefourth inthe NationalJuniorCollege Athletic Associa- tion Tournament. Young has been named a Clarion-Ledger Coach ofthe YearforJunior Colleges, and he has coached the Mississippi Junior College All-StarGamethreeyears. Also employed at Co-Lin as a mathematics instructor, Young extends hiscoaching abilities inthe spring to include women's Softball. Before coming tothecollege, hecoached at Brookhaven High School. He holds an associate of arts degreefrom Copiah-Lincoln, a bachelor's degree from Mis- sissippiCollege,andamaster'sdegreefromtheUniversityof Southern Mississippi. Youngandhiswife,Velesta,havetwochildren,Laneand Jessica. RANDALL BRADBERRY Head Football Coach In hissecondyearas head coachoftheWolves, Randall Bradberryhascompiledatotalof 1 years of coaching experience. Fortwo years, he was a Wolfpack assistant, serving as offensive coordinator.HealsocoachedatEastMississippiCommunityCollegefor12years.Amemberofthe Co-Lincoaching staff in 1989whentheWolvescapturedthesouth divisontitle, he ledtheteam in 1990tothe same crown. Bradberryservesthecollegeasdirectorofinstitutionalresearch.Heholdsabachelorofscience and master of education degree from Delta State University, and he completed his educational doctorate at Mississippi State University. Bradberry hasthreechildren, Bo, 9, Libby, 4, and Laurie, 4. BOB RICKETTS Assistant Football Coach Bob Ricketts has worked with the offensive line forthree years, and he served as offensive coordinatorfrom 1985through 1988.WithaCo-Lincoachingrecordof49-19,Rickettshasseenthe Wolves win the south division in 1986, 1989, and 1990, plus seeing the team capture the state, region, and East Bowl championships in 1985. In 1975, Rickettswas named NCAADivision II Southern Baseball Coach oftheYearashead coach at Southeastern Louisiana University. Ricketts was also SLU's offensive coordinator. He holds a bachelorof arts degreefrom SLU and a masterof science degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Ricketts is married to the former Shirley Allen, and they have three children, Susan Trahan, BobbyRicketts,Jr.,andJimRicketts.RickettsistheproudgrandfatherofThomasAlexanderTrahan born inJuly. Coaching Staff ALTON GREENLEE Assistant Football & Golf Coach A Copiah-Lincoln employeefor28 years, Alton Greenleecurrently servesas defensiveback coachfortheWolfpack. Henotonlyworkswiththefootballteam,butalsocoachesthecollege'sgolf teamwhichsawoneofitsplayersfinishfifth intheNJCAAtournamentthispastspring.Greenleeis managerofthe Co-Lin golfcourse, and heteaches social scienceand physicaleducation. BeforejoiningtheCo-Linstaff,GreenleewasemployedatWestTallahatchieHighSchooland GulfportEastHighSchool.Heearnedhisbachelorofscienceandmasterofeducationdegreesfrom Mississippi College. Greenlee is married to Christine Greenlee, andthey haveone son,Jeff. CHARLES SUTTON Assistant Football Coach Foreightyears,widereceivercoachCharlesSuttonhasbeenprovidingleadershipasamember oftheWolvescoachingstaff.WhileassociatedwiththeWolfpack,hehascompileda53:23-1 record, hasseentheWolvescapturethestatetitlein1985,andhasseentheteamcapturethesouthdivision crown in 1986, 1989 and 1990. Sutton served as assistant track coach in 1987, when the team won the state title. He also currentlyservesascounselorforthecollege's Upward Bound program, aposition he hasheldfor 1 years. Before joining the Co-Lin staff, Sutton worked as a classroom teacher and counselor inthe Lawrence County School System. He earned his bachelor of science degree from Alcorn State University, and he hasdone additional workatJackson State University. Sutton and hiswife, Evelyn, havetwo sons, Victor, 18, and Renard, 13. BROOME PHILLIP Assistant Football Coach Inhissecondyearasafull-timeassistantfortheWolves,PhillipBroomepreviouslyworkedwith theteamfortwoyearsasavolunteer.HiscoachingrecordatCo-Lincurrentlystandsat24-81-1,and hewas a memberofthe coaching staff in 1989and 1990 whentheWolves weresouthchamps. Broomealsoisemployedasscienceteacher.Forthreeyears,hewasemployedatBrookhaven High School as an instructorand coach before becoming a Co- Lin staff member. He earned his bachelorof scienceand masterofscience degreesfromthe University ofSouthern Mississippi. He is marriedtotheformerCynthia Batson, andthey haveoneson, Tyler. CURTIS HOBBS Assistant Football Coach Wide receivercoach CurtisHobbs hasbeenworkingwiththeWolfpackforfouryears. Hobbs hasseentheteamcapturethe1989and1990southdivisionchampionshipsduringhisassociation withtheteam. Hehascompiled aCo-Lin recordof26-15-1. HobbsearnedhisassociateofartsdegreefromCo-Linandheworkswithcollegesecurity.He wasemployedbyT.L.JamesConstruction beforecomingto Co-Lin. Hobbsand hiswife, Gloria, haveoneson, CurtisAlonzo. PAUL JOHNSON Men's Basketball Coach In hisfourthyearas headcoachoftheWolvesbasketballteam, PaulJohnson hascompileda Co-Linrecordof48wins,35losses. In1989,Johnson'steamwonthestatecommunitycollegetitle, while also claiming the south division regular season championship and placing as Region 23 runners-up. Johnsonalsoisemployedbythecollegeasaphysicaleducationandfirstaidinstructor.During the 1986-87 schoolyear, heserved as an assistant basketballcoach. Hisformeremploymentincludescoaching positionsat Prentiss High School,the Universityof Texas, EastTennesseeStateUniversity, andSouthNatchezHighSchool. Heearnedanassociate of arts degree from Jones County Junior College, a bachelor of science degree from Belhaven College, and amasterofsciencedegreefromthe UniversityofSouthern Mississippi.Johnson has done additional workatthe University ofTexas. He is marriedtotheformerMary Millerof Mt. Olive, andthey havetwodaughters, Maggie, 7, and Anna,5. STEVE BLACKMON Baseball Coach SteveBlackmonhasbeenheadmentoroftheWolvesbaseballteamforfiveyears.Aformergolf professional, he is also employed atthe Co-Lin Golf Course as a maintenance assistant. Blackmon holds a bachelorof science degree in marketing from the University of Alabama, Classof1978.HeismarriedtotheformerJanetDouglasofWessonandtheyhaveoneson,Douglas, age 2. MIKE MclNTYRE Tennis Coach In the spring of 1991, theWolvestennisteam camewithin a single pointofcapturing an unprecedented third consecutive state/regional championship, finishing as runner-up. Coach Mike Mclntyre's squad also extended its state-record unbeaten string to 68 dual match wins (overfourseasons), before suffering itsonly loss in April. The Wolvesfinished 18-1 forthe season, extending Mclntyre's 13 season career recordto 200-18, en routetotheirsixthtripto the NJCAA nationals in Texas. AUSPTR-certifiedteaching professional, Mclntyre has been named "Coach oftheYear"four timesand hasseen hisWolveswinfivestateandfourregionaltitles,plus 16otherteam honors. He has hadfiveteams ranked inthe national'lop20."The 1990team isstilltheonly Mississippiteam to everfinish in the 'lop 10" atthe NJCAA nationals. Mclntyre also serves as business division chairman and teaches economics. He earned his associateofartsdegreefrom Copiah-Lincoln, and hisbachelorofscienceand masterofbusiness administrationdegreesfromtheUniversityofSouthern Mississippi.
