Customers not holding a credit account will be required to pay for the rental in advance, plus any accessory items purchased. Additional 4 deposits may also be required, depending on the type of equipment rented. Two forms of identification are required from all non-credit account customers, preferably a current driver’s license and a credit card. Acceptable forms of payment are cash, check or credit card. We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. Customers who rent on a frequent basis may be eligible for a credit account, subject to creditworthiness and other factors, and subject to terms and conditions of Ahern Rentals. AHERN BIOGRAPHIES DON F. AHERN: CEO & CHAIRMAN, AHERN RENTALS Don F. Ahern is the owner of Ahern Rentals, the largest independently owned equipment rental company in S the nation. Don joined the family business to help his father and Ahern Rentals founder, John P. Ahern. Don E continued to work at his father’s shop until he started his own business at age 23. He decided to continue HI working in the rental industry, but focused on renting out high reach equipment, such as boom lifts and scissor P lifts, which he saw as a growing area of demand. In 1990, Don purchased Ahern Rentals from his father and A integrated his high reach rental business to expand the rental fleet. A true entrepreneur, Don continued to grow R Ahern Rentals, expanding the business across Nevada, California and beyond. G O In 1999, Don purchased a forklift manufacturer in Oregon called Western Attachment Company. It was Don’s goal I B to develop a heavy-duty high reach telehandler that exceeded the quality of the existing products already on the market. After investing in an engineering team and relocating the business to Las Vegas, Nevada, Don launched Xtreme Manufacturing™ in 2003. Don lives with his wife in Las Vegas, Nevada. 9 EVAN AHERN: PRESIDENT, AHERN RENTALS Evan Ahern is the president at Ahern Rentals as well as the founder of Ahern IT, a dedicated information technology solutions provider. Evan also sits on the Global Senior Executive Management Team that oversees the Ahern family of companies, alongside his father Don. A native of Las Vegas, Evan attended Bonanza High School and received high honors. After graduating from high school, Evan attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas, graduating in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations and Information Systems. Evan started out in the rental equipment industry as a paint booth worker, employed by his father. After graduating, Evan brought together a team to form the Information System Services department which went on to become Ahern IT. Evan has become a leader in the telematics industry with the formation of GPSPro, a satellite system used to track equipment for rental and sales customers. GPSPro is the industry’s leading fleet management, tracking and dispatching solution. As a former Eagle Scout, Evan strives to always have a plan and create high quality solutions that bring efficiency, effectiveness and return on investments for customers. Ahern, P opened a gas station in Las Vegas, Nevada, A N from where he began renting hand tools and Y landscaping equipment to homeowners. These H humble beginnings grew into the business that I S we know today. This is the story behind the T O man who started it all. R Y 1953 In 1953, John & Martha Ahern purchased the Signal Oil & Gas station, located on the future site of the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino, on S. Las Vegas Boulevard. John & Martha also celebrated the birth of son, Don Ahern, in the same year. JOHN P. AHERN Top left: 1 John P.
