Upon acquisition, such land shall form part of the Site and vest in the Authority. 2 deleted ?engusS ection of NH-11 from km 246 f300 lo km 298+075 der NHDP Phase lllA on DBFQT National Highways Authorily of India Annex - I (Schedule-A) Site for Four Laning 1.1 The Site The project highway aims at developing the existing two lanes to four lanes from km 2461300 to km 2981075 of NH-1 lin the state of Rajasthan. .L% ' Thus the construction package for the project includes developing the existing two- lane carriageway to Four-lane dual carriageway configurations including strengthening of existing two lanes between km 2461300 and km 2981075 defined as "Project Highway". 1.2 Description of Project Highway The project highway is generally 2-lane and the road is passing through built-up areas of towns and villages enroute. Important town along the alignment is Chomu. An index map and location plan of project highway is given at Appendix A-1. 1.2.1 Referencing system < Kilometer stones are existing in entire length of project highway. It is called "Existing Chainage". During topographic survey with total station, observations made are referred to -'Design Chainage". The relationship between the "Existing Chainage" and "Design Chainage" as per field surveys of the location of existing kilometer stones using Total station for the ''Project Highway" is given at Appendix A-11. 1.3 Latitudes & Longitudes Latitude and longitude of the project corridor lies between 26O53'N to 27'2t'N and 75" 50'E to 7S035'E respectively 1.4 Terrain The project road passes mainly through plain terrain. 1.5 Traffic The traffic count details as per survey conducted by design consultant during the December 2005 on the project highway are given at Appendix A-111. National Highways Authority of India Schedriles 1.6 Abutting Land Use Agriculture is the predominant land use along the project highway. Settlements and ribbon developments are observed intermittently along the project highway. The land use in these sections is commercial or residential.
