Preface
Theadventofcomputerizationhasimprovedourcapabilitiesintermsofgenerating
andcollectingdatafrommyriadofsourcestoalargeextent.Ahugeamountofdata
has inundated nearly in all walks of lives. Such growth in data has led to an
immediateneedforthedevelopmentofnewtools,whichcanbeofhelptousinan
intelligentmanner.Inthelightofallthesedevelopments,thisbookdwellsonneural
learningmethodsanditaimsatsheddinglightonthoseapplicationswheresample
dataareavailablebutalgorithmsforanalysisaremissing.
Successful applications of artificial intelligence have already been extensively
introducedintoourlives.Therealreadyexistsomecommercialsoftwaredeveloped
for the recognition of handwriting and speech. In business life, retailer companies
canexaminethepastdataandusesuchdatafortheenhancementoftheircustomer
relationship management. Financial institutions, on the other hand, are able to
conductriskanalysesforloansfromwhattheyhavelearnedfromtheircustomers’
pastbehavior.Inparticular,dataareincreasingeverydayandwecanconvertsuch
dataintoknowledgeonlyafterexaminingthemthroughacomputer.
In this book, we will discuss some of the methods related to mathematics,
statistics,engineering,medicalapplications,economicsaswellasfinance.Ouraim
is to come up with a common ground and interdisciplinary approach for both the
problemsandsuggestsolutionsinanintegrativeway.
In addition, we provide simple and to-the-point explanations so that it will be
possible for our readers to make conversions from mathematical operations into
programme dimension. The applications in the book cover three different datasets
relatingtothealgorithmsineachsection.
We,astheauthors,havethoroughlyenjoyedwritingthisbook,andwehopeyou
willalsoenjoytothesameextentandfinditbeneficialforyourstudiesaswellasin
