Les élèves emporteront des « en cas » pour le voyage. Voyage de nuit jusqu’à Calais. LUNDI 24 : Petit-déjeuner au Flunch de Calais Coquelles. Traversée Calais-Douvres par le ferry. Arrivée à Canterbury. Découverte de la ville. Repas emporté par les élèves. Visite avec audio-guides de la Cathédrale. Rencontre avec les familles d’accueil à Margate, dîner et nuit dans les familles. MARDI 25 : Matinée à Maidstone, visite de Leeds Castle and Park et panier-repas fourni par la famille. Après-midi à Broadstairs, visite du Dickens House Museum. Retour dans les familles, dîner et nuit. MERCREDI 26 : Matinée à Rochester, visite du Guildhall Museum. Panier-repas fourni par la famille. L’après-midi sera consacré à la visite guidée du Dickens World à Chatham. Retour dans les familles, dîner et nuit. JEUDI 27 : Départ des familles d’accueil après le petit-déjeuner avec un panier-repas. Arrivés à Londres, dans le quartier de Westminster nous allons découvrir à pied the Abbey, the Cathedral, the Houses of Parliament, Big Ben… Déjeuner Fish and Chips dans le quartier de Covent Garden où les élèves auront un temps de shopping libre. Départ pour le voyage de retour dans la soirée. Dîner à Douvres avec le panier-repas fourni par la famille. Traversée par le ferry. VENDREDI 28 : Arrivée à Calais à 3h30. Petit-déjeuner sur l’autoroute en cafétéria en milieu de matinée et arrivée au collège vers 15 h 30. 1 Watch out ! Safety tips ON THE COACH  you should not stand or be seated improperly when the bus is moving.  You should always face the front.  Remember to keep the bus clean! You should not eat or drink in the bus.  Remember to be seated all the time ! British authorities are extremely severe on that point and we might get a fine (to be paid by your family). ON THE FERRY  Always stay with the group!  It’s not allowed to be on the outside decks without permission !  Do not run ! Do not make noise ! IN CITIES AND TOWNS  You must be very careful when walking in the streets, in small groups or in large groups.  Always walk on the right side of the streets. Remember the vehicles are not coming from the usual direction !  Never move aside when you are walking on the pavements !  Always look both ways before crossing ! ABOUT YOUR LUGGAGE  Be careful not to leave your luggage unattended ! It could cause useless alarm ! FREE TIME PERIODS  Always stay in groups ! Don’t stay alone !  Do not leave the area indicated by the group leaders.  Make sure you know where and when the group is to meet after free times.  Make sure you know how to find your way back to the meeting point before separating. SHOPPING  You should always keep the receipts when you buy something. Groups are often controlled in stores or museum shops.
