My Pinellas County Schools. www.pcsb.org connect with us: www.pcsb.org/choice 1 Message FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT Thank you for making Pinellas County Schools your first choice for your child’s education. Our district offers families a wealth of educational choices based on students’ interests, talents and abilities. We strive to meet the needs of today’s students with a growing list of more than 60 choice programs. We are delighted to have once again expanded opportunities for students by creating new elementary, middle and high school programs. We are listening to families and will continue to develop new educational choices based on your feedback. I invite you to discover all the choices our District Application Programs provide based on your child’s grade level and interests. As you will see, we offer a wide variety of high-quality, academic programs designed to inspire students and provide them with the skills they need to achieve success in college, career and life. This guide will provide an overview of the District Application Programs and direct you to where you can find out more about them. There are Parent Information Sessions, where you can learn about the application process and how to apply. I also encourage you to attend one of our Information Fairs. These events give parents and students a chance to meet program representatives and obtain more information about programs that interest them. In addition, schools will hold Discovery Nights and school tours to provide you with even more program specifics. Please contact the school directly for details. We are proud of our academic programs and the families, students and teachers that help make them a success. Thank you for your involvement in your child’s education. Michael A. Grego, Ed.D.
