part and set default sheet metal parameters. • Open Aerospace Sheet Metal Design workbench • Open Aerostructure.CAT part which is located in the ASL_F\Student\Data\Aerostructure Directory (cid:1) Sheet Metal Design Parameters icon • In the Parameters tab, click Sheet Standard Files button • Select AluminumTable.xls file in the ASL_F\Student\Data\Parameter_Tables Directory • Select design table flange 1.1 - Planar flange • Select the surfacic flange icon • Base Feature: select the web • Check Exact is setting for Support Type • Support Geometry: select the green plane • Check Flange Material Direction and Flange Base Feature Direction are pointing inside the web (click on red arrows to invert them). • Select EOP tab • Enter 30mm for Length From OML value COPYRIGHT DASSAULT SYSTEMES 8 (cid:1) 1.2 - Curved flange • Select surfacic flange icon • Base Feature: select the web • Check Exact is setting for Support Type • Support Geometry: select yellow surface • Check Flange Material Direction and Flange Base Feature Direction are pointing the green surface (click on red arrows to invert them).
