There is an endless journey for any person who is deeply involved in his job. I remember each and every moment of my 14965 days in this company. Iremember my 4 months’ non-stop journey schedule which starts every year in July and finishes by October. How can I forget the days when I couldn't travel in a reserved class due to many constraints! How can I forget the day when I carried 100 kg weight of books with me to sell and generate funds for developing and producing new books! How can I forget when I took only one time meal to save money! How can I forget my travel to the medical schools 8-10 kms without any vehicle to save money! Today we have reached a stage where everything is affordable. Travelling in first class, staying in 5 star hotels, enjoying the journey in a car with all the luxuries at my beck and call, but in the corner of my mind my 41 years’ struggle constantly reminds me of the perspiration and the heights to be scaled, goals to be achieved. This struggle has given me strength to remain stoically fixed in the field of medical publishing. Ireached this stage with a lot of dedication and research. I have always believed to do something different, for example recently we started a Video Atlas Series which became a grand success. Shortly, a Mini Atlas Series also followed the same story. We are entering in a big way in the segment of e-editions of our imprints and many more new plans are in the pipeline. We at Jaypee like competition. We enjoy the reward of beating down the devil in its den and creating....creating the best book, with the best package, by hopping and skipping through multiple formats and win today's race. As you would expect, the preparation for today's race can consume many, many yesterdays, but we are not scared of the competition. We always try to kill the competition with our unflinching commitment to quality and richness of contents. I am really proud of my dedicated colleagues who are scattered all over the globe and doing wonderful jobs for their company, Jaypee. Indeed our future publishing and distribution programmes are exciting. We work towards the future but plan today that gives us excellent results and keeps our company on the top of medical publishing in Asia. Jaypee, as the pioneer medical publisher, plans to expand its network throughout the world by its global access programme through distribution channels across the seven seas from the Alps to the Himalayas. We at Jaypee uphold independently the leadership in health sciences books for the last over 41years and continue to carry on the flag with determination to remain at the top. As we walk towards the dawn of the 22nd century, JAYPEE looks ahead to find and create ways for a lifetime relationship through collaborations and ventures for reaching highest echelons in commitment and trade with scholastic achievement.
