It has become the most prestigious forum for researchers and practitionersinthefieldandservesasameltingpotforexpertsfromamixofdisciplines includingComputerScience,InformationSystemsEngineering,andManagement.The BPM conference itself is complemented by a workshop program, where workshops dedicatedtomorespecializedthemes,tocross-cuttingissues,andtoupcomingtrendsand paradigmscanbeeasilyandconvenientlyorganizedwithlittleadministrativeoverhead. ThisvolumecollectstheproceedingsoftheBPM2022workshopsheldonSeptember 12,2022inMünster,Germany. BPM2022solicitedproposalsforone-dayorhalf-dayworkshopstobeheldbefore themainconference.Intheworkshopreviewandacceptanceprocess,prioritywasgiven to proposals that not only addressed an exciting topic but also promised a creative format likely to generate lively interactions and foster new ideas. Thegoalofthisworkshop wastoestablishaforumforresearchers andprofes- sionals interested in understanding, envisioning and discussing the challenges and opportunitiesofmovingfromcurrent,largelyprogrammaticapproachesforBPM,to emergingformsofAI-enabledBPM. TheBPMS2workshopexploredhowsocialinteractionsintegratewithBPMand howBPMmayprofitfromthisintegration.Furthermore,theworkshopinvestigated thehumanaspectsintroducedintoBPMbyinvolvinghumanusers. (cid:129) 1st International Workshop on Data-Driven Business Process Optimization (BPO 2022)organizedbyArikSenderovich,RemcoDijkmanandWillemvanJaarsveld. This workshop aimed to bring together researchers from both the area of BPM andtheareaofOperationsResearchaswellasotherrelatedareas,withtheoverall goalofdevelopingtechniquesforoptimizingbusinessprocessesinanorganization basedonmodelsthatarecreatedfromreal-worlddata. (cid:129) 10th International Workshop on Declarative, Decision and Hybrid Approaches to Processes (DEC2H 2022) organized by María Teresa Gómez-López, Claudio Di Ciccio,TijsSlaats,andJanVanthienen. DEC2Hwasinterestedinthedecision-andrule-basedmodelingandminingof processes, as well as in their hybridization with imperative models in all phases of theBPMlifecycle. (cid:129) 1st International Workshop on Natural Language Processing for Business Process Management(NLP4BPM2022)organizedbyHanvanderAa,ManuelResinas,Adela delRío-Ortega,andHenrikLeopold. The NLP4BPM workshop aimed to provide a forum for researchers and prac- titioners to present, discuss, and evaluate how natural language processing (NLP) can be used to establish new or improve existing methods, techniques, tools, and process-awaresystemsthatsupportthedifferentphasesoftheBPMlifecycle. All workshops together received a total of 51 submissions. Each workshop had an independent Program Committee, which was in charge of selecting the papers for publication.Theworkshoppapersreceivedatleastthreereviewsperpaper.Outofthe 51submissions,26paperswereselectedtobepresentedattheworkshops.Twoofthe acceptedpaperswerenotincludedinthefinalproceedingsbecausetheauthorsdecided towithdrawthem.Thus,theacceptanceratewas47%.
