Not long before she died, Filomena asked her husband Lindsay to continue running to raise money for the National Breast Cancer Foundation through the annual Mother's Day Classic. Since then, Lindsay has raised almost $100,000 through sponsorship and donations from family, friends, work colleagues, and the local community. Filomena and Lindsay’s children, Katharine (15) and James (18) will increase their participation, carrying on the important work Lindsay achieved over the last 10 years.
