Plan now to be on hand for the Brown Angus Ranch Annual Production Sale set for February 23, 2017, at the
ranch west of Center, North Dakota. This will mark the 19th Annual Production Sale and believe me, the cattle
are the best ever.
As you arrive at the sale, there are many exciting items including the four flush brothers sired by SAV
Resource 1441 and SAV International 2020 out of the great donor cow, SAV Abigale 5646. As you page
through the catalog bull after bull will truly intrigue you.
The Brown family, Justin and Kayla, Paul and Keri, Kelan and Holly, and Shae and Jenny and their families are
all Angus enthusiasts and they believe in Angus.

It is our pleasure to welcome you, our past customers and friends to our 19th Annual Production sale. We welcome all new and potential
buyers as well and if we can be of any assistance to you let us know. First off, we would like to thank all of our past customers for their
continued support to our program. It is without a doubt one of the most important aspects of a family run business. We put our customers
first and treat them with honesty and respect. We believe in having a great relationship with our fellow breeders.
Fall 2016 calf markets took a little plunge prior to the big election. There is still a strong demand for great Angus cattle and great Angus
cattle still have been topping the markets all over the country. We are truly blessed to be living in a time where America relies so heavily on
protein. It is not just protein; it is the best available protein on the market. We are all in this together; if we can in turn help our customers be
successful that makes us successful as well. The markets have been increasing and the outlook into the fall of 2017 is looking bright.
The bulls in this year’s offering are by far the most elite and powerful set of bulls we have ever raised. I know everyone says that in
there catalog every year, but this is without a doubt the best set. We have really raised the bar selecting bulls from larger groups and are
only keeping the top end. We have utilized more embryo transfer, which allows us to freely select high performance herd sires with maternal
qualities that fit our program.
We are extremely excited about the progeny from our donor cow SAV Abigale 5646. We now have daughters calved out; they are super
good and have great dispositions. We are currently flushing 5646 and are excited about our next mating’s. We are very pleased with the
calves from Connealy Black Granite, SAV Angus Valley 1867, SAV International 2020, SAV Resource 1441 and SAV Renown 3439.
The sale bulls and females are developed in large groups with plenty of room for exercise. We believe in keeping these bulls in a sound
package. Insuring them plenty of free space allows them to travel and move freely. We typically feed them with the steers all winter long until
we market the steers, so there is a little bit of competition at the bunk.
We are continuously working and pushing hard to be one of the elite breeders in the country. We strive to breed Angus cattle that work
in all sectors of the business. Whether you are a registered breeder or commercial breeder looking to improve your weaning weights or
overall functionality and longevity, we believe we can assist you. We have been selecting top end AI sires from what we believe are some
of the best cows in the industry. We believe in consistency and maternal traits including the ability to get bred, milk well, and breed back
while maintaining her own body condition. It all starts with a good cow. We have customers commenting on how happy they were with their
weaning weights. They said, “they have gone up considerably” while using our bulls.
