bar ikl Meeting the needs of the residents and neighborhood ofI ronbound since 1969 WELCOME TO ICC: ICC is dedicated to serving the residents of the Ironbound neighborhood in Newark and to improving the quality of life in our community. Our mission is to help make the lives of Ironbound families healthier and better, now and for the future. ICC was started more than 35 years ago by individuals like you, who live in Ironbound. We began as a group of people who came together to create a preschool for the neighborhood. Today, ICC is still a neighbor- hood group that works with neighborhood people to meet the needs of our families. We have programs for all ages, from babies to grandparents. ICC also works with Ironbound residents to address issues that affect life in our neighborhood and, when necessary, to speak up to our government about these issues. We are proud of our success in organizing to help create a safer and cleaner Ironbound neighborhood. And we welcome your participation in our campaigns to strengthen and improve our community. ICC programs and services are open to every Ironbound resident, and most are free. So get to know us—and then let us know how we can serve you.
