Nothing in nature is as complex or wonderful as your child’s brain and you will really enjoy helping him make the most of it.* Playing the games in this book can help boost your child’s brain, build his confidence and stimulate his thinking. Your child’s amazing brain A human brain is the most complex object we know of in the uni- verse. Babies are born with billions of brain cells (also called neurons). But it is not the number of brain cells that determines their success in life but the connectionsbetween those cells. Thinking takes place when cells connect up within the brain. It is these indi- vidual patterns of connections that makes every brain different. Children are born with enough brain cells to lead a successful life.
