All trips include quality equipment. Our helpful, friendly, certified guides provide safety and paddling instructions. We offer a fun & exciting raft ride that’s suitable even for younger kids. Free shuttle service is available to and from our facility to the river. Allow about 3V2 hours for your trip (about 2V2 hours on the water). Fun even for younger children! Children ages 4 and 5 should enjoy rafting if they are comfortable with the water. Ages 6 and up usually do very well. What to wear? In warmer weather wear shorts, a light shirt and shoes that can get wet. Shoes are required, and we usually have water shoes available for purchase at our shop. In cooler weather, a jacket and hat may be helpful. You may want to bring a change of clothes —we have changing rooms in our rafting center for after the trip. Try a Ducky! This puts you on US 74 West. We’re at Uncle Bill’s Flea Market. It’ll take about an hour from Asheville. From Atlanta follow 1-8$ to I-985 towards Gainsville, GA. This becomes US 441/23.
